X10 RCN Branch: deadline for Acas claim
What happened?
GMB London Region has been asked by members of our X10 RCN Branch to look at whether their employer breached Section 145B of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992, by offering an inducement by means of implementing an imposed pay deal that would normally be addressed by industrial relations and consultation.
What action do branch members need to take?
Our legal advice tells us that limitation on this potential breach is Sunday 18th May 2025.
If any members wish to protect their legal position, they would need to lodge a claim through the Acas employment tribunal process by this date.
GMB has provided you with the instructions on how to carry this out should you wish to do so.
What action will GMB take?
GMB believes the best course of action is an industrial resolution, using the strength and solidarity of our members.
GMB is currently in negotiations with your employer in line with our own agreements.
